Here's how to enter: just leave a comment telling me either 1) something you learned from this blog, 2) something you hope to learn from this blog, or 3) your favorite dairy product.
I'll collect comments until Nov 1 at 5:00 p.m. I'll use a random number generator to pick a number, and that commenter will walk away with (well, really, I'll mail it) this gift bag, plus a Got Chocolate Milk? t-shirt.
Friends and family, you're welcome to comment also. But I have a shirt just like this, so let's not wear them at the same time.

My favorite dairy product is cheese! I learn a ton from this blog, I grew up on a mint farm, so it's cool to learn things about other types of farms. I come home from work with new things to tell my husband, and many times I sent him the link to this blog and make him read it. :)
Ice cream!!! I grew up on a farm but am amber added by how much I learn! I especially like the hot topics like organic milk and hormones in milk!
*ambarrased (oh auto correct)
What I learned: milk goes from the farm to the grocery shelf in about 40 hours! Who knew? My kids didn't believe it either. Love to read your blog Carla - one of these days we will get out of Wisconsin and come for a visit.

I learned that chocolate milk after a workout helps in muscle recovery. I bought my son a Tru Moo after football practice one night and he eyed me suspiciously. A treat after practice?? (he's 10) I told him it'll help with soreness and help his muscles recover after grueling drills, runs, and plays. He said you are a wonderful mom! :)
I love cheese, of all kinds. And ice cream - it's hard to pick on thing. I've learned so much on your blog since we featured you on Faces of Ag! I always look forward to reading your new posts since dairy isn't something I'm directly involved in myself. Keep up the good work!
I learned how to perform a uterine torsion, in case the need ever arises.
I love ice cream.
I want to use your blog to teach my city kids more about farming! And I do!!
Ice cream, hands down!
Your blog has taught me a new appreciation for farming...something we've done for 40 years. I love it that non-farmers like to read about dairy farming.
If you pick me as the winner, you wouldn't even have to pay postage! And I promise not to wear the shirt to your house:)
Mom
ice cream! congrats on your latest honors! you are awesome! love the blog and keeping up with your sweet family!
hugs,
Sarah
Congratulations on your latest award and your fantastic blog! I didn't know that some farmers have added candy to the feed since the increase in corn prices. Glad it's limited to 3% so the animals don't get cavities!
Cheese! Love your blog and 'seeing' what is going on the other side of the highway.
Pam

I looove trying to win stuff! Ok, I'm doing all three: I've learned the difference between straw and hay (which comes in handy on STRAWrides); I hope to see my first manure lagoon posted here; obviously, my favorite dairy product is ice cream. Duh.
Favorite dairy product(s)? Ice cream in the summer, hot chocolate in the winter, and cheese just about anytime. What do I hope to learn from this blog? That I won the gift bag, of course.
Chocolate milk is. By far my favorite!

Oh my goodness, thank you all so much for participating, commenting, and playing! I really, really appreciate it! I used my random number generator it gave me #2 - Meghan Kidwell. (She's also my sister-in-law. But she lives in Texas, so even if we're wearing our shirts at the same time, we won't see each other!) THANK YOU, READERS!!
